Jacquelyn is a renowned folk flautist known for her mesmerising live performances, whose 2014 album "Silver and Wood" received stunning reviews and was Album of the Week on BBC Radio nan Gaídheal. Arts Council England supported an album tour of the North in 2015 and she was invited as an official artist to Folk Alliance International.

Jacquelyn performs internationally as a solo artist, in her trio or as a performer with other projects and has been broadcast throughout the world.

She recently wrote and performed additional music for “Rebel Song” by Dickins and Wright at The Other Palace in London and has composed music for theatre including KAOS Theatre, Snap Theatre, The Arcola, Riverside Studios, The Gate, and Tyneside Irish Festival.

Recently Jacquelyn appeared as young Sister Bernadette in Sally Mulready’s play “Nun’s Chorus” for the Irish Elders Culture Office.

Jacquelyn is Flute and Folk tutor at Morley College London, Flute and Whistle tutor at the Irish Cultural Centre, London; Folk Tutor at EFDSS London and Senior Lecturer in Folk at Leeds Conservatoire.

She has been a guest lecturer in Folk at the Institute for Contemporary Music Performance in London and visiting workshop leader/tutor at London’s Wigmore Hall, The Irish Embassy, Oxford University, Cambridge Music Trust, and Munster Music Academy, Ireland.

Jacquelyn is a member of the Royal Society of Musicians, the Folk Educators’ Group, and the Musicians’ Union where she has served on several committees and chaired the Equalities Committee for two years. Her interests include oral history.
