For me - building a network of people you can work with on a professional level
What are you planning on doing next after you leave Leeds Conservatoire?
I will be releasing a single in October 2020, an EP in December followed by another album late-2021.
Other than that hopefully getting a job in the music or creative industry.
Is there anything you've encountered over the last few years that has really made you push yourself as a musician or anything new that you had not tried before?
Actually making music I liked instead of trying to make something for other people, because you are your worst critic. If you can make yourself happy with your own music that’s all that matters.
What is the best piece of advice you've been given at Leeds Conservatoire?
Don't make music to please others, make it to make you happy.
What has been the best project / opportunity you've had during your degree?
Leeds Festival 18&19 was an amazing thing to be part of with the DJ Society.
What has been the biggest challenge and how has this helped you develop?
Making an album and the planning that goes into making it.
What is your favourite Leeds Conservatoire memory?
Recording a jazz quartet and mixing using only Hardware.
What advice would you give to others thinking of applying to your course at Leeds Conservatoire?
Do it, you won't regret it!
